I was a non-conventional pupil, a little bit older than my associates were, so I found it a little bit tough to adjust to life at music school. Occasionally I did really feel alienated from others because I was older and it was more difficult to relate to them, but in general, I did not feel really that they ever deliberately excluded me or ever made me feel unwelcome mainly because of my age.
